2 pictures below. Do you agree or disagree OPPO?
Both have muscles (racecar parts) and both are capable, but.......

Race cars are fast cars, designed to be fast for long periods of time. A regular 'Vette would have the clutch plates molten (melted? I'm rusty) if you put it in a GT race.

I think the first picture is accurate, but the second picture should be:
And the LMP1 cars should be this:
Much more functional physique than just "I PICK THINGS UP AND PUT THEM DOWN"

I'd actually disagree.
A drag car should be paired with that 2nd picture, because it's a lot of power and functional but will not last long and one day will just be completely beat. The endurance cars should be paired with a long distance runner or tri-athlete (extremely functional strength and endurance).
I've always thought body building was kind of stupid. Now maybe it's just because I'm a skinny guy and enjoy rock climbing, but having functional strength seems a lot better than just having glamour muscles. (I know this wasn't the point of the post, but I felt like ranting a little. haha)

Accurate. Sure the bro dozed *could* do some heavy work but it would be incredibly inconvenient and way more likely to break something.
Watching a documentary on body builders once. One guys arm was leaking whatever was injected into it. And another guy had a hard time getting dressed because his muscles were literally too big and hindered his movement.

I focusing more on the muscles. Yeah the first guy has muscles (racecar parts) but the second dudes actually can use those parts for their intended purpose and very well. Basically, the first guy can maybe lift those things... once. The Pagani can run at SPA, for a little while

Big Z and Brian Shaw are both known for having tons of functional strength. Probably the best on the planet. Your point still stands for endurance though.
Gunter (first pic) has glamour muscles but that doesn't mean he's weak either. Might get winded going up stairs too quickly but there is certainly strength there.

Well, I'm saying there's more in the LMP1 car than just muscles. There's agility, training and technique.
I agree with the first guy, he could probably do everything, but not anywhere near as well as someone trained for overall fitness and not just power.

Car picture 1 - fast when you want it to be
Car picture 2 - fast all the time and more maintenance required than anything you've ever owned ever.

NFL linemen are enough to tell you that extremely strong =/= perfectly sculpted muscles.

Mostly I was focusing that the first guy has muscles (race car parts) but can't really compete like the second group of guys (race cars). First guy can probably list those things once or twice like the Pagani can lap Spa a couple times. But eventually, the first guy will not reach the level of performance the second guys can even with fancy muscles (race car parts). As far a beauty competition judged on form, the first guy (or exotic supercar) would win. The second guys have muscles also, but would not fair too well in that kind of stage

That's exactly what I said! I said pic 2 should be a drag car, and then posted a wheelie-ing 2nd gen Camaro and said the LMP1 cars should be something like Bruce Lee. Super strong, but incredibly functional strength and endurance.

Bruce Lee is the best ever. Perfect example of a complete understanding of what is needed for peak physical condition/performance. He is definitely one of my idols.

He was at a level above human I think.
your phrasing of peak physical condition/performance is really the best way to phrase it.
And imo it's a perfect comparison to the top LMP1 race cars. They are absolutely as perfect/capable as possible.
I've done some martial arts, and was even an instructor for a little while, but I know I'll never be anywhere near his level. No one will be.

Is the comparison for daily use ( - fast car)? Or just which one's superior ( - race car)?

Yeah, Bruce Lee was really on a completely different level, not just in terms of physique but also mentally. He really had an amazing undertsanding of and perspective on the world. He was a philosophy major after all. lol
That reminds me, I've been meaning to buy some of his books. haha
